Centrifuge is a single player experience created in Quake 4 that combines the elements of environmental art and scripting. I worked alone on this level for a period of around one week total, using only existing texture and model assets from Quake 4. The primary features of this level are use of patches for curved world geometry and entities and scripting to manipualte motion and behavior. The level also contains custom particle effects and GUIs.

This is the entrance to the level, following the established themes in Quake 4 with the "transfer successful" monitor. Windows and grating in the wall open up to more background areas such as piping to create a much more visually appealing experience than flat walls.
