Lock's Quest

Lock's Quest is my first shipped title and my first game at 5th Cell. As the first designer hired specifically for the project, I became responsible for a variety of tasks throughout the project from map design to environmental art to scripting cut scenes. There are few areas in this game that I did not touch in some way, so I can see my love of this game in every screenshot.

This level is the obligatory graveyard for the game.

The ability Lock is using here is the "vampire drain" skill, which places a debuff on enemies, causing damage over time while also healing Lock. This is the only way to heal Lock other than staying out of combat for a short duration. While this can't be applied multiple times to a single enemy, Lock can apply it to many enemies, gaining the effect from each. This is an important strategy when Lock has to fight alone.
